Dr. Guan Q. Ellerbe is a licensed mental health counselor, organizational psychologist, and nationally recognized speaker specializing in race-based trauma, psychological safety, and leadership development for Black women and professionals of color in workplace settings. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of mental health, organizational equity, and trauma-informed care, Dr. Ellerbe is a trusted advisor to corporations, academic institutions, and community leaders seeking to cultivate culturally responsive and psychologically safe environments.
Dr. Ellerbe is the founder of Leading Light Speaking & Consulting Firm, a mission-driven practice dedicated to helping organizations center wellness, equity, and accountability in their leadership and workplace culture. Through dynamic speaking engagements, customized workshops, and strategic consultation, the firm equips leaders with the tools to navigate systemic barriers, support marginalized voices, and promote sustainable change.
Drawing from both clinical expertise and lived experience, Dr. Ellerbe’s approach is unapologetically rooted in authenticity, empowerment, and liberation. She is especially passionate about creating spaces where Black women can unmask, heal, and lead—without shrinking.
